Sports journalism is a competitive field, and it can be difficult getting your foot in the door. That’s why we run this programme. We supply those who want to pursue a career in the industry with all the requisite tools to succeed. Over the course of a few months, you’ll be fully integrated into the GMS content process, learning how to write and market successful articles, read by thousands of sports fans each and every day.

    The editorial team at Give Me Sport is looking for a dedicated Image Specialist ready to create high quality images in the vertical.

    Are you a dynamic image creator and obsessed sports fan, who is dedicated to staying up-to-date with the latest news and information in the Sports world? If so, then we need you! As an Image Specialist in the Sports industry, you will manage original, informative, and eye-catching images that our audience is craving to read.

    • Create 7-10 high quality images daily;

  • SEO Specialist

    North America Flexible Experienced

    Responsibilities:

    • Researching and creating keyword-based SIR (Story Idea Research) ideas to hand off to the Editorial Staff
    • Performing gap analysis to identify areas where we need to increase our coverage.
    • Identifying articles that could be boosted with an SEO-focused update.
    • Monitor analytics and reporting to keep an eye on performance and catch issues quickly.
    • Working with the team to improve on-page optimization.
    • Working with Valnet’s SEO teams to ensure that we are following and implementing best practices across the site.

    What makes a good candidate for this role:

    • Someone familiar with SEO tools (Google Search Console, ahrefs, semrush).
    • Someone with experience auditing work for SEO improvements (technical and content based).
