Yes - congrats, H1's. I picture Hohlen in some secret Batman-like lair with a bunch of supercomputers - you know, like the big ones from the '60s. They're spitting out complex algorithms as he rubs his hands together in an evil manner, gives his handlebar mustache a little twist and says something like "I will conquer the fantasy golf world and all those that try to stand in my way!" to no one in particular. It's the only reasonable explanation.

Whatever it takes - I'm game! I'm on like a 5-year drought!!! Oh well, bring on the football season - #5 for the Mirage this year!
P.S. Jeff - are you suggesting we go back to using a spreadsheet? Maybe that will resurrect The Mirage! LOL
Post #202
Thanks boys! That was quite a finale. I couldn't figure out who was going to win between me, Steve, and Dave. I thought for McIlroy was going to pull it out for Steve and then when Dustin Johnson took the lead I thought Dave had it in the bag. That was one of the craziest finishes I've ever seen (in RGFGC and PGA). It's amazing how close this league is every year. I hope you guys enjoyed some of the improvements to the site this year. I'll see what I can come up with for next year.

Yeah, Hohlen - well played. I tried everything but couldn't catch you. Of course, another putt or two made by McIlroy and the results would have been a little different. I do have to say, it was fun trying to track you down. Oh well, there's always next year. Congrats. Three trophies...you are the king!

Nice job Hohlen - what do you know that the rest of us don't???? I remember when I used to do all the standings in a spreadsheet and everyone wondered why I always did so well....LOL! At least that monkey's off my back now!

More hardware for P. South as they one and two in session #4. Congratulations Bill! The Angry Amardillos is starting to warm up. Watch out everybody. He's been known for his second half of the season moves. With 8 weeks to go, I hope the H-1s! don't pull a Robert Garrigus, Greg Norman, or Dustin Johnson!
Yeah, that was almost as painful as Greg Norman's choke at the Master's....talk about a guy being out of whack - Johnson couldn't even put a solid swing together...only thing worse would have been pulling a TC Chen on that wedge shot on #2, but tough to double-hit a shank!

I think D. Johnson just 1-upped Westwood for "choke-artist"
seriously... what a terrible week

Garrigus cost me $500K. Although, I feel sorry for him, I feel more sorry for me. I could not believe what I was watching. I thought my son had accidentally changed the channel to a HBO and Tin Cup was on. Using a mulligan on him was a big gamble and thought it was going to pay off when he had a 3 stroke leading going into the last hole. I will never, ever, ever use a Sunday mulligan on a guy who has never won a tournament before!
Oops, sorry....I guess Westwood is English for LUCKY!!!! He can't win a tournament outright, but at least he's always around at the finish...Van de Veldarrigus!!!
Westwood - English for CHOKE! Man, he just can't finish....but gotta give it to Clark - what a great weekend.

Congratulations to Steve Keuker (No Tigers Allowed) who netted high score for The Masters in the PTFG Majors 2 contest. With Steve's $100 winning, his RGFGC entry fee has been recouped!
